TEN/Gary Hughes Cambridge Show

Last weekend Frances and I travelled to Cambridge to see the long lived British melodic rock band Ten supported by White Skies.

White Skies were excellent, playing tracks from their recent album; "Black Tide". The singles; "Emily", "What Do You Know About Love" and "Sleeping In The Fire" as well as their new release; "If This Is It (Get Ready)" were particularly well received.

Then Ten took to the stage and, despite a few sound problems along the way, wowed an enthusiastic crowd with an hour and three quarters of superb rock from across their career. Their debut album "X" was represented by a brilliant version of "After The Love Has Gone" and they went through to their latest "Something Wicked This Way Comes" with "The Tidal Wave". Particular highlights were "The Name Of The Rose", "Shield Wall" and the magnificent "The Dragon And Saint George".

They are currently working on 2 new albums and will tour again in 2025. This blogger thoroughly recommends that you get tickets and you will be thoroughly entertained by Gary Hughes and his band of merry men know as TEN!
