When I started my journey into music , I was in turmoil as to how to put a show together.
The problem I have is, I love music and I really don't discriminate. one minute I could be listening to some country like Chris Stapleton or Ella Langley then the next I could be listening to Witcheater a fast rising Deathcore band from Liverpool.
So how do I do a show and aim it at a specific target audience ? When I swap my listening habits so randomly.
Well the answer is simple, I aim it at myself and hope you the listeners enjoy the chaos...
"We play the music we love , so you can discover your next favourite band "
This weeks show is a prime example of the mischief and randomness , we have some Blues rock, a country rock/pop track we have some classic grunge , punk and rock and then for the last part of the show we encourage you to turn the volume up full and mosh to some metalcore and hardcore.
Also in our cover corner segment ,we have a cover track of a metal classic in the style of Grassrock and we have a really Iconic Song in being placed in our Heart Shaped Box: The Vault.
We also chat to singer-songwriter Izzy from one of the most exciting new bands around Pinkfiz.
The one thing we do promise is all our tracks except our Vault track are all new songs from the hottest emerging bands. I am committed to support and help promote new music and new artist.
Join me at 10pm with Heart Shaped Box , with Adam Webster.
The show is pre-recorded so wont be able to pay my respects tonight, but as a resident of the town of Southport and seeing the horrific and saddening scenes yesterday. I want to say
'Southport we stand together '
My heart and thoughts are with everyone affected.
Love the post Adam. Standing with the people of Southport affected by this terrible thing too
