DJ Mojo
Mojo has been involved in the music industry since age 14 when he had a rock n’ roll/rockabilly roadshow that played throughout Kent and South London every week for about 4 years. He then answered an ad in the Melody Maker from a band looking for a manager. With no clue as to what he was doing but with the gift of the gab, he took that band from nothing to headlining some of the top UK venues during the Goth/Hair days of the 80’s. The band signed to Lemmy’s publishing company and Doug Smith (Motorhead’s manager) Gerry Bron (head of Bronze Records) and Miles Copeland (Head of IRS Records and The Police’s manager) became his mentors. For the next 10 years, Mojo continued managing bands while also acting as a freelance A+R for a bunch of record labels. He then formed Mojo Working - an international PR and marketing agency for the recording business - representing some of the biggest recording studios and record producers of the day. Moving to America in 2001, Mojo continued and expanded into movie, TV, music video et al production company representation. He returned to his first love - rock music in 2020 with The Mojo Show - a radio show for a now defunct station, where he averaged over 50,000 listeners a show. A couple of radio stations later and now working for Rock Radio UK, Mojo has come home. Playing rock music in all its guises to real fans the world over. SOOO happy to be joining Rock Radio UK!
